Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons for pupils in 2nd – 6th class will commence on Tuesday 23rd February for 8 weeks (4 lessons before Easter and 4 lessons after Easter). The cost is €40 per child for the 8 weeks.  It is a fantastic opportunity for the children and they enjoy it immensely as they gain confidence in the water and have great fun swimming with their friends.

As with other years, the lessons will be on Tuesday mornings in Sean Treacy’s Swimming Pool, Tipperary 10 – 10.45 am. Children come to school as usual on these mornings in their tracksuits and travel by bus from school at 9.30am and return again at 11.30am.

The Parents Council pay for the bus for the 8 week duration which helps with keeping the cost to a minimum.

Money can be paid in full or instalments but must be paid before lessons begin on Tues 23rd February. Please put money in envelope with child’s name and amount which can be given to class teacher. Thanks.
